I’m a UX Designer and Researcher with an interest in most things that developed while growing up in the wilds of Indiana far from most interesting things.
CRITICAL MISSION #1: Save the user (and clients) from headaches and create delightful and useful experiences.
I love the magic of code, design, typography, and colorful and shiny things in general. Learning is a never-ending process that keeps me motivated and passionate about skillsharing and mentoring.
At work, I aim to simplify the complex making dense structures clear through the UI and page flows, validating decisions through research. Collaboration is a must as great things are never achieved alone.
When I’m not designing, strategizing, or whatnot, I strategically plan and market festivals and performances for flow, fire, and circus artists through the Flow Arts Institute and FlowMotion Events. I practice and teach aerial arts at Cirque Indy weekly.
With a variety of methods and keen interviewing skills, I create field guides and research plans encompassing persona hypotheses to test and refine who we’re serving turning these discoveries into insights for design.
Working with existing information architecture and branding, designing several micro-sites and sub pages for client. Responsible for wireframes, testing, UX, and close collaboration with visual designer and developer while sometimes editing front end code and prototyping.
